Cedar Creek Lake Shallow Water Fishing Tips

Early morning fish are feeding on shallow points 6 to 8 feet of water. Use swimbaits such as a 3 inch sassy shad. Make long cast and a steady retrieve will produce fish. Once sun gets up fish will stage deeper, 12 to 15 feet. We are jigging slabs then trolling hell/pet rigs. Consistent limits of Sandies with the occasional Hybrid.
