Fish are transitioning between spring and summer patterns. As water warms into the 80’s fish will start stacking up shallower. As of now most are in 18-24 feet of water on humps and points but some are stacking up as shallow as 12-14 feet with more to come. Slab bite is still consistent but will slowly evolve into trolling patterns take full force in a month or so. Hell/pet rigs, jet divers trolled over humps and points will fill your cooler with sandies and the occasional Hybrid. We are catching a lot of blue Catfish while fishing for sandies as they are in spawn mode. Crappie are stacked under shaded bridge columns in 8-12 feet on jigs and small minnows.
