It’s hot folks, water temp about 87-88, lake 4 ft low and steadily dropping. Be careful boating in shallow areas, watch for sandbars and stumps.
Fishing has been decent with trolling for white bass the ticket to fill the cooler. Some early morning schooling occurring but not lasting very long. As far as trolling, we are using hellbender/ super duper combos in water 11-13 ft.
Crappie being caught around shaded bridge columns in water 8-12 ft on small tube jigs and minnows.
Channel catfish being caught with livers and worms and blood bait around fish cleaning stations as well as being drifted slowly in shallow coves.
