As temps continue to heat up and water temps rise, fish will start to stack up in shallower, main lake humps and points in water 11-16 ft holding nice schools of sandies with the occasional Hybrid Striper mixed in. With the high winds we’ve had, trolling is the way to fill the cooler. Hellbender/ pet spoon combos or any small trailer in chartreuse or chrome are working well.
Periodic schooling in the early morning for short periods of time. Any swim bait or rattletrap-like lure will work well on schooling fish.
Crappie have been good over brushpiles in water 8-14 ft on small bass assassins.
Channel cats good around fish cleaning docks and piers, being caught on livers and cut shad.
